MY JOURNEY AS A TRAINER

I have always had a great affinity with animals since a young child. It is because of this that the true essence of the human-animal bond, and the ways by which we interact and communicate with them have always intrigued me.

In 2005, I followed my heart and studied Ethology in South Africa, where I gained my Advanced Qualifications in canines. It was at that point that I channeled my passion and energy for working with them into my own successful dog training school, where I used positive reinforcement training methods. I associated with some of the countries top vets and I thrived on running puppy socialisation classes, adolescent dogs courses, right through to basic, intermediate and advanced obedience courses. Living back in the UK, I continue my wonderful journey and experiences with these special beings here in Borough Green, Sevenoaks, Kent.

I have found nothing more rewarding than working with handlers and their furry friends, growing and nurturing that ever unique and special bond. It is my aim for both owners and their dogs, to build a foundation of perfect companionship and mutual respect.

We as humans can teach our dogs to do just about anything, but a fact that we often forget, is that we have much to learn from them too.

TRAINING & SERVICES

PUPPY PAWS:

This is a curriculum based course for puppies aged 8 - 20 weeks, done in the comfort of your own home. The course runs for 4 consecutive weeks, for 45 minutes per week. Other suitable environments can be used upon request and depending on the puppy's full vaccination status.

MAGIC PAWS:

This is a 1-on-1 training session for your puppy (16 weeks or older) or dog that requires help in certain areas, whether it be for training or behavioural purposes. These sessions are curriculum based and are set up according to the client/dogs particular needs. Typically good for adolescent dogs, maintaining continued good behaviour, as well as stimulating those dogs that enjoy working or training for fun.

BUDDY PAWS:

This is a 2 hour fun away from home, group socialisation and exercise session. The session is a pick up and drop off service only, and is held in Savvy Dogs secure private dog field, situated in the local countryside.

WALKIE PAWS:

This is a service only available to registered Savvy Dogs clients and consists of a 45 minute dog walk,

which can be individual or with other dogs if preferred. This is purely an exercise session, not a training session.

STAR PAWS:

These are tailor made sessions that assist clients with dogs that need additional support such as comfort time, stimulation games, short walks etc.

THE BINGY BOX:

Inspired and named after my fun loving and playful beagle Bing, 'The Bingy Box' is my own creation of free-hand personalised wooden boxes done in the colours of your choice. They are fabulous for pet toys, pet grooming accessories, car pet goodies and as gifts for pet owners. The measurements are 37.5cm x 28cm x 18cm.
